Create Drill Through Report

Step 1: Create new report  by right clicking on dataset--> new data set -->Click on use shared data source references-->From drop down select datasource-->click OK (Myself i created My_Parent_table.rdl) i.e., Parent report

Step 2: Write the Query then click OK

Step: 3 Drag and drop the required fields

Step 4: Now click on Deptno field then Click on Textbox properties

Step 5: Click on Action-->Click on Go to report--> Select Child report from Specify a report-->Select DEPTNO as name and value [Deptno] with drop down list from Use these parameters to run the report --> click on OK

Step 6: Now click on deptno (may be 10 or 20 or 30) it will go to Child report(i.e.,My_Child_table)
